A Storm of Swords

In nineteen days, the storms unleashed.
The swords will sing and preachers preach.

The Stranger’s here, death stalks the land.
The Warrior’s arms are close at hand.
The Mother’s mercy, seldom found.
The Father’s justice, blood on ground.
The Maid’s innocence, forever lost.
The Crone’s wisdom soon forgot.
The Smith’s skill has been corrupted,
The Seven save us all.

Across the sea, a dragon’s stirring.
Across the sea, a fire is burning.
“Give me liberty or give me death”,
“Dracarys” then, a mortal breath.
Chains are broken, shackles smashed.
A Mother’s love will change the map.

The lion with antlers sits the throne.
The lion who roared now has no home.
The lion who plots has much in store.
The lion who fights, will fight no more.
The lioness stalks,
The lioness schemes.
The lioness roars,
To drown out her dreams.

The little wolves are lost.
The little wolves are scattered.
The Old Gods watch their fate.
The Young Wolf growls,
The wolves still matter.
A debt of blood they have to sate.

The cold winds rise beyond The Wall.
Swords will break and shields will fall.
The Northern Wolf, his heart still black.
The Northern Wolf is coming back.
A legend’s born of a slayer bold.
Birthed in blood and ice and cold.

In nineteen days, the storms unleashed.
The swords will sing and preachers preach.

Walk Like a Targaryen :D

All the Valyrians during the doom
They do the dragon dance, don’cha know?
If they move too quick (Oh-Way-Oh)
They’re falling down like a domino

And the Blackfyre man by the trial
He got the money on a bet
Gold dragons (Oh-Way-Oh)
They snap their teeth on wild Ygritte

Essos types with their hookah pipes sing:
Way-oh-way-oh-way-ooo-aaa-ooo…
Walk like a Targaryen.

The bed slaves with their wild ways
Spin around and they cross the floor.
They’ve got the moves (Oh-Way-Oh)
You drop your drink then they bring you more

All the apprentices so sick of rooks
They’d like to punk in the shadow lands
When the Blue Bard sings (Oh-Way-Oh)
They’re walking like a Targaryen

All the kids in the fleabottom say:
Way-oh-way-oh-way-ooo-aaa-ooo…
Walk like a Targaryen.

Slide your feet up the streets
Bend your back
Shift your arm then you pull it back
Like Visenya O (Oh-Way-Oh)
So strike a pose on a dragon’s back

If you want to find all the knights,
They’re hanging out with the tavern slop.
They sing and dance (Oh-Way-Oh)
They spin their cloaks and cruise on down the block

All the Wildlings with their kin
The Watch boys call the giants in
The Dornish know (Oh-Way-Oh)
They walk along like Targaryens

All the Watch in the ice tunnel stop hey:
Way-oh-way-oh-way-ooo-aaa-ooo…
Walk like a Targaryen
Walk like a Targaryen

The Ballad of Donal Noye

I knew a man once, Donal Noye. A smith he was by trade.
He made King Robert’s hammer and King Stannis’ first blade.
But it’s not for this he’ll be remembered, my tale begins when he’s dismembered.
He lost an arm and took the black (which says all that my words do lack).

He worked and toiled and shaped the steel to give the Night’s Watch blades to wield.
But when war came to Castle Black, Donal Noye faced down the attack.
Mormont dead, the watch in tatters, to Donal Noye, this did not matter.
“We’ll hold The Wall” was all he thought, and hold they did, but at a cost.

The gate below had been breached and must needs be defended.
If Mance got through the tunnel then The Night’s Watch was ended.
Without hesitation, Donal knew his place.
He went below to face the foe, and a mighty foe he’d face.

Mag the Mighty.
Last of the giants.
This was Donal’s task.
As he slew is comrades left and right, the one-armed smith stood fast.

The giant grabbed brave Donal, the smith took his last breath.
And with a final effort, he gave the gift of death.
For his steel slew Mag the mighty, the fearsome giant king.
Now his watch has ended, for Donal Noye we sing.

Dashing through the snow,
in a black cloak every day,
along the Wall we go,
freezing all the way,
Horns three blows they bring,
with them comes the first wight,
What fun it is to fight and die
at my sworn post tonight…

Oh, seven hells, seven hells
I can’t get away
Oh, what fun it is to die
while high lords feast away,
Oh, seven hells, seven hells
I can’t get away
Oh, what fun it is to die
while high lords feast away

A day or two ago
I thought I’d take a ride
And soon a Moletown whore
Was seated by my side
The girl was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed her lot
We got caught by Bowen Marsh
who now wants my head chopped

Oh, seven hells, seven hells
I can’t get away
Oh, what fun it is to die
while high lords feast away,
Oh, seven hells, seven hells
I can’t get away
Oh, what fun it is to die
while high lords feast away,

Free Folk roasting on an open fire
Others lurk beyond the Wall
Brothers plan and they conspire
For their commander Snow to fall

And nobody knows why Patchface says “I know, I know”
Or if Mel’s prophesies are right
Undead wights with their eyes all aglow
Are rising from their graves tonight

The Great Other’s on his way
He’ll bring his frozen armies south to slay
And every living thing is gonna cry
Because they know that soon they all are gonna die

And so I’m offering this simple phrase
To folks from one to ninety-two
Although it’s been said
Many times, many ways
Winter’s coming to you

by Silver Spearwife

Naughtiness

He is sworn to be single
With girls not to mingle
As a man of the Watch
He’s expected as much
And if you go to Mole’s Town, do not linger.

But he felt like a cripple
So he pulled out his pickle
Would’ve given his life
To lay with the spearwife
Or preparing a siege on her nipples

Tries as much as he can
Not to have that much fun
But he could not resist
So he gave the Lord’s kiss
After breaching her walls with his ram

By Liar

Mind strong, body strong
Try to find equilibrium
Draw swords, fight’s on
They were waiting for too long

And some will lean on the waves
And feel the fear accumulate
I think of you in starless skies
It keeps me so alive

Let’s fight Ice with Fire together
Save all Men til the Dornish Sands

Fight for our place
Our lives at stake
Seems like the sound of Winter
The bleeding love, the luckless escape
You can’t depend just on yourself
When your hear sounds of Winter

Cruel smiles upon their lips
Frozen arms and fingertips
Deadly fights, no recompense
It’s what we swore, until the end

Let’s fight Ice with Fire together
Save all Men til the Dornish Sands

Fight for our place
Our lives at stake
Seems like the sound of Winter
The bleeding love, the luckless escape
You can’t depend just on yourself
When your hear sounds of Winter

This is how I am a Stark
Taking black, joining The Night’s Watch
I blame it on my emo baby

This is how Ygritte dies
I blame it on my Starkish pride
Blame it on my emo baby

Fail!
Fail!
Fail!
Fail!
Fail!

Maybe I should cry for help
Maybe I should kill myself (myself)
Blame it on my emo baby

Maybe I’m a different breed
Maybe Rhaegar’s, maybe Howland Reed’s
So blame it on my emo baby

Fail!
Fail!
Fail!
Fail!
Fail!

La la la la la la

La la la la la la oh!

La la la la la, La la la la oh!

Fail!
Fail!
Fail!
Fail!
Fail!

Fall with me into the dark
Fail!
Fall with me into the dark
Fail!
Fall with me into the dark
Fail!
Fall with me, fail with me

“UPON THIS ICE / GUARDING THE WALL”

Featuring the  NIGHT’S WATCH and MANCE RAYDER
JON SNOW, MAESTER AEMON, ALISER THORNE, RED ALYN, PYP, and RAST

(Night’s Watch gathered at the Wall, preparing to battle the Wildlings)

MEMBERS OF THE NIGHT’S WATCH (who can sing)
The Night’s Watch vows to serve the realms of men.
Let the free folk come in legions.
They will be ill-met.
Keep faith in yourselves dear,
And do not fear!
Don’t back down so they
Will never forget.
Now the war begins.
If we should die
In the fight; let it be.
We will spit in their eye
Just to be
Free folk free.
If they come,
We’ll be there!

MANCE RAYDER  (From off stage, at base of the Wall)
You crows on the Wall,
We plan to climb up to fight
On this dark night.
This is no lie
Surrender now or
Prepare to die!

DONAL NOYE
Ignore their warnings and their lies!
They will see
The Night Watch rise!

MEMBERS OF THE NIGHT’S WATCH (who can sing)
Ignore their warnings and their lies!
They will see
The Night’s Watch rise!
Ignore their warnings and their lies!
They will see
The Night’s Watch rise!

DONAL NOYE
Jon’s back!

JON SNOW
Listen, my brothers.
I have done as Qhorin said.
I have been to enemy lines.
I have counted each man.
I will share what I can:
Please be warned!
They have numbers to spare.
The wildling threat is real.
Prepare to fight with steel
We must make them heel.

MAESTER AEMON
Have a heart!
If we know what their movements are,
We will tear them apart.

JON SNOW
They lack discipline
When they fight.
We shall subdue their power.
I am privy to their plans.
They will attack tonight
At an appointed hour.
They will start a proper fight.
Take the Wall by force.
We need all our might.

ALISER THORNE
Liar!
Good evening, Lord Jon Snow.
Chilly evening, bastard dear.
I know this warg, my brothers.
He’s the King of the Others!
Sweet Lord Snow!
Don’t believe a word he says.
Because it’s not true, I know!
He is  TURRNCLOAK!  Yes, YOU!
I know what we must do!

DONAL NOYE
Shut it!  As we do know
To the other side he did go.
Now together we must fight.
Together we have some bite!
Never kick a dog
Because he’s just a pup.
Together we must fight
And we won’t give up~!
The Wildlings best run for cover
When the pup grows up!

PYP
Donal, you’re first class!

RAST
But what to do
With a snake in the grass?
Take the bastard, take him!
To the Wall up there.
The hour is late.
Later, we decide Snow’s fate.

HAIRY HAL
Take the bastard now and kill him!

RED ALYN
Let us watch the dragon dance!

JON SNOW
You’d have done the same, brothers
If Qhorin gave you the chance.
Kill me now or kill me later –
Go on!  Have your sport!
Death to me the traitor.
I defy your crow court!

MAESTER AEMON
Though all may not survive here.
Our vows will never die.

HAIRY HAL
We can ask him why
He became a wildling spy.

RAST
Take Jon Snow!
Drag him through.
We have work we must do

“THE SONG OF HONEST MEN”

Sung by Maester Aemon, Jon Snow, Donal Noye, Dolorous Edd Tollett, and the Men of the Night’s Watch

(Before the Wall, the barricade to keep the Wildling’s from crossing.  This is the night before the big wildling rush for the Wall)

MAESTER AEMON
Do you hear the Night Watch sing?
Reciting the vows of Honest Men.
It is the rhyme of the brave crows
Who will all march North again.

When the crow vows in your heart
Pound like the song of angry drums
We are about to play our part
When tomorrow comes.

DONAL NOYE
We will guard the barricade
Brothers!  Get up and stand with me!
We will stop the Wildling crusade
They’re end you all will see.

JON SNOW
Come join our might
On this night
We fight to be free!

ALL MEN OF NIGHT’S WATCH
Do you hear the Night Watch sing?
Reciting the vows of Honest Men.
It is the rhyme of the brave crows
Who will all march North again.

When the crow vows in your heart
Pound like the song of angry drums
We are about to play our part
When tomorrow comes.

DOLOROUS EDD TOLLETT
Will you die so men can live?
Will you be willing to take the chance?
Are you ready your life to give?
Come on, crows, let’s advance!
We will make the dragons dance!

ALL MEN OF NIGHT’S WATCH
Do you hear the Night Watch sing?
Reciting the vows of Honest Men.
It is the rhyme of the brave crows
Who will all march North again.

When the crow vows in your heart
Pound like the song of angry drums
We are about to play our part
When tomorrow comes.

Ah, the Heresy threads have me wondering:
if Jon is really Winter’s end or ally
the cause of the Watch is faltering
- a King of Winter may rise instead of Azor Ahai.

by Little Wing

In my head I am already gone
All roads snowed up, decisions decided on
But in my nights there are restless hours
When hours just go down and nothing else comes up

And the only thing we know
Is it’s getting dark, get ready to go
And the only thing we see
Are the last lights of the day

And if you’re too tired
Go to sleep my brothers, I
And if you’re too tired
Go to sleep my brothers, I’m all right to fight

And in my heart I’m the weary kind
I’m much too tired to cry
Though it’s sad enough for tears
It’s been try, fail, try for years

And when the next day comes along
I don’t know who will be gone
I don’t know if we’ll survive

And the only thing we know
Is it’s getting dark, get ready to go
And the only thing we see
Are the last lights of the day

And if you’re too tired
Go to sleep my brothers, I
And if you’re too tired
Go to sleep my brothers, I’m all right to fight

And we’re much too young of men
To carry such heavy heads
And tonight for the first time
It felt good to be alive

Yeah, we’re much too young of men
To carry such heavy heads
And tonight for the first time
It felt good to be alive again, my friend

The Only thing we know
It’s getting dark, get ready to go
And the only thing we see
Are the last lights of the day

And if you’re too tired
Go to sleep my brothers, I
And if you’re too tired
Go to sleep my brothers, I
And if you’re too tired
Go to sleep my brothers, I
And if you’re too tired
Go to sleep my brothers, I’m all right to fight

Once more onto the Wall, dear brothers, once more;
And close the gate up with the Wilding dead.
In peace there’s nothing so becomes a Watchman
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war horn blows thrice,
Then imitate the action of the direwolf;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour’d rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry back the crossbow
Let loose the frozen casks; let the brow o’erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O’erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill’d with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest of Westeros.
Whose blood is fet from black brothers of war-proof!
Brothers that, like so many first men,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your brothers; now attest
That those whom you call’d brothers besiege you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good watchers upon the wall,
Whose truth was found beyond the wall, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your oath; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like direwolves in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game’s afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry out for First men, the Old Gods, and the New!’

The Other Night’s Watch Vows

As the night now gathers
My watch will soon begin
I’m stuck up here until my death
For my bloody awful sins

I shall take no wife
Except the girls in Mole Town
It’s so fucking cold up here
The only town is underground

I shall walk the Wall
When it’s so cold, your piss will freeze
Coming back to some weird sludge
That’s supposed to be meat and cheese

I’m an unwanted peasant
But better than my brothers
Rapists, thieves and murderers
I’d rather face the Others

For the rest of all my days
I watch the empty dark
I freeze my cock off for the Watch
To guard the realm from snarks

by Silver Spearwife

The Night’s Watch Vows

As the night now gathers
My watch will soon begin
It shall not end until my grave
Blows o’er with coldest winds

I shall hold no lands,
I shall take no wife
I shall have no children
To my post, I give my life

I shall win no glory
I shall wear no crowns
I’m the sword in the dark
Watching high above the ground

I’m the dawning light
The fire burning warm
The shield that guards the realm
The horn that calls to arms

For the rest of all my days
Until my life is done
I pledge my honor to the Watch
For this night and nights to come
