The women truly are the strong ones!

Daenerys, lost in the red waste,
But you have learnt to put on your queen’s face.
Your dragons will grow big and strong,
And you’ll be queen before too long.

Oh Sansa, sweetling,
You are brave to take his beatings.
You must remain strong,
You’ll be free before too long.

Little Arya, poor young girl,
Before you go home you must travel the world.
You must remain strong,
You’ll be home before too long.

Queen Cersei, stuck in a cage,
Lesser men tremble at your rage.
You are so very strong,
You’ll have power before too long.

Margaery, innocent flower,
Soon you’ll be holding the power.
You must remain strong,
You’ll be queen before too long.

Oh Ygritte, wildling girl,
You soon became Jon Snow’s world.
You were so very strong,
You’ll see him again before too long.

Catelyn Tully, now Stark,
I know your children are in your heart.
You must remain strong,
You’ll be with them again before too long.

Lysa Arryn, forced to be married,
But to your love you’ll soon be carried.
Your boy must grow up strong,
He’ll be lord before too long.

Young Gilly, Craster’s daughter,
You long to escape across the water.
You must remain strong,
You’ll escape before too long.

Oh Shireen, your greyscale,
Makes the men grow very pale.
You must remain strong,
You’ll find a match before too long.

Melisandre, with your red hair,
You’re only doing what you think is fair.
You are so bright and strong,
You’ll see the truth before too long.

Jeyne Poole, how could you know?
That your fate would be with Ramsay Snow.
You must remain strong,
Your saviour will come before too long.

Queen in the North, Jeyne Westerling,
How could you know you’d be the death of your king?
You must remain strong,
You’ll be with child before too long.

Roslin Frey, don’t cry,
We know it wasn’t your fault, aye.
You must remain strong,
Your husband will be freed before too long.

Yeah, yeah, the image is stolen, but I thought it was brilliant! If this is yours, apologies; if you want me to take it down I will.

The young wolf Robb Stark was made the new King in the North,
He called upon his banners and prepared to sally forth,
He would chase his father’s killers to the far ends of the earth,
The direwolf lives on!

The North, the North, it remembers!
The North, the North, it remembers!
The North, the North, it remembers!
The direwolf lives on!

To get his army across the Trident he made a fatal deal,
To marry Lord Frey’s daughter no matter the ordeal,
He’d get himself a bride and two thousand spears of steel,
His army marches on!

Chorus

Robb battled here, Robb battled there, and won against the best,
To beat the bastard king he marched his army to the West,
And there he lost his honor on Jeyne Westerling’s soft breast,
His wars will ne’re be won!

Chorus

To marry the Frey wench Robb gave his uncle in his stead,
Not knowing that the weasel Lord had bartered for his head,
The wedding that killed the King will be e’er known as Red!
The direwolf howls on!

Edmure

In the halls the blood was shedding
and Freys were all enraged,
while Edmure has his bedding
with a woman half his age.

The Red Wedding - Edmure’s POV

My King and my Uncle say
"For your mistakes you must pay.
It’s arranged, marry Roslin Frey,
Lord Walder must now have his way.”

My opinion, they did not seek
Was my bride fair and sleek?
Or homely and lacking teeth?
I didn’t know, still they made me go
Time was not for me to be weak.

On arrival, I’d never believe!
Roslyn was comely, what a relief!
And yet she wept, I didn’t know why
For now I’d love her ‘til the day I died.

The wedding took place, the feast proceeded
I felt now happy, got all that I needed
Those awful songs? That poorly meal?
Didn’t care much, did my part of the deal.

It was time for the bedding, how I longed for it
Naked in the chamber, with all candles lit
Roslyn was there, and oh, what a sight!
Drowned in happiness! Yet, oblivious, and blind….

When all was done, I got my wish
A lovely wife, and no floppy fish!
But soon I found out ‘twas nothing but lies
Beneath this chamber, my King, Robb, dies.

Despite the salt and the bread,
Thousands perished that night,
No offense goes past the Freys
Not even under Guest Right.

And now they hold me captive,
A hostage by seed and by chains,
No king, no sister, no army,
Nothing else remains…

Red Wedding

The bridge across the Trident deep
Is guarded by the Freys’ own keep
The wizened weasel in his sleep
Is dreaming treachery.

The toasts and dishes pile up
Each wedding guest will raise their cup
To uncle of a wolfish pup
Not one of them will flee

The sweet departing bride and groom
Go off to their own private room
While hapless guests then meet their doom
In manner foul and fell

The deadly Rains of Castamere
Fill Tywin’s foes with dread and fear
The Greatjon fortified with beer
Is dragged unto a cell.

The Wolfling King, he failed his test
And his own vassal did the rest
The Leech Lord stabbed him in the breast
And passed on his regards

And Lady Cat, they cut her throat
Appeasing that old vile stoat
His vengeance sounding bloody note
For songs of future bards.

The North Remembers

Like his father before him
The Young Wolf was betrayed;
For from the path of wisdom
He too had strayed.

"But mother, I love Jeyne,"
The Wolf said in despair
"My uncle can marry
Lady Roslin the fair.”

So they went to the Twins
To appease the old man
And Lord Bolton brought vengeance
For Rickon and Bran.

A gift from the bastard;
The iron prince flayed
But later that night
As Edmure bedded the maid

The Lord of the Dreadfort
And the Lord of the Crossing;
Their murder and treachery
Set the Greatjon’s mouth frothing.

The giant of Umber
Took many men to detain
As the lord on his high seat
Looked down in disdain

At the Young Wolf, barely standing
Pierced by many a shaft
Was stabbed by the Leech Lord
With a thrust to the heart.

His mother was slaughtered
As the fire turned to embers,
But the turncloaks forgot
That the North remembers.
