The Starks of Winterfell

Ned’s face is plain and long

We won a battle that was lost

But now his head is on King’s Landing’s wall

When he died the war was on.

Robb was brave and strong

And he had his crown on

But he married the wrong maiden fair

And now he has wolf’s hair.

Sansa was a maiden fair

Sewing and singing and brushing her hair

A wolf, a lion thought that was a lie

But she will make the bad man fly

Arya’s face was long and horsey

And she always preferred to be outdoorsy

Valar morghulis she just said

And brought her own certain end.

Bran always enjoyed climbing

But the knight was a monster and made him flying

Don’t despair he is alive

And he will be there after everyone die

Rickon the younger grew angry and alone

Left with Osha and got lost

But now that this mummer’s farce is done

The Onion Knight will bring him home

Though he is a Snow Jon is here

Having a white wolf near

He felt in a trap without seeing

And then he found his red sword to save the Realm to save his kin

Because he is the once and future King!

Those are the Starks we love seeing

Because they are special and honorable beings

Though they are scattered they are not lost

Because winter is coming to Westeros.

Tears

As lonely as the mountains peak,
I lie here in the dark,
With but the birds and winds to speak,
The lost, forgotten Stark.

My eyes, at first, refused to see,
A blinded cripple, now,
When fear passed eventually,
I saw again, somehow.

The roots that grew around my knees,
Gave power to my eyes,
They saw afar, through grounded trees,
The truth behind the lies.

For hidden, now, I’d walk unseen,
The paths of memory,
See things to come, and what has been,
A spy to history.

I see now how my brother died,
And watched my father fall,
I know now, too, the way he lied,
He promised, after all.

I saw the link in broken lines,
He hides too, dressed in black,
He failed, though, to read the signs,
And may not make it back.

My sisters, they hide faraway,
By changing name and face,
I see it, too, a wedding day,
And one who’d take her place.

My Mother now, I cannot see,
Through all the tears I cried,
She walks, but does not think of me,
For all but hate has died.

That fate, I know, is shared with mine,
To spend my life alone,
Here in the dark, to see and pine,
For all the ones I’d known.

No death will come to lay me down,
No kiss to bring me sleep,
No mothers arms, in which to drown,
No family to keep.

No horse to ride, no true glory,
No sons to bear my name,
No ending for my sad story,
No victor in this game.

No knighthood for this broken child,
No freedom from this place,
No legs with which to roam the wild,
No sunlight on my face.

No chance to explore foreign lands,
No hills for me to run,
No gentle touch, nor lovers hands,
No rest when life is done.

No tears to cry, though I would weep,
No lips upon my cheek,
No rest for me, no deepest sleep,
No strength when I feel weak.

No choice to die upon the floor,
This is the life you chose,
No, I don’t want this anymore,
That door you cannot close.

No death, no death, no dream so dear,
No light found in the dark,
No more, no more, no ears to hear,
The cries of Brandon Stark.

His father wore white as a Stark,
but he always went with the black
Did a Dragon hatch,
in this man of the Watch?
This isn’t the end of his arch!

By Liar

This is how I am a Stark
Taking black, joining The Night’s Watch
I blame it on my emo baby

This is how Ygritte dies
I blame it on my Starkish pride
Blame it on my emo baby

Fail!
Fail!
Fail!
Fail!
Fail!

Maybe I should cry for help
Maybe I should kill myself (myself)
Blame it on my emo baby

Maybe I’m a different breed
Maybe Rhaegar’s, maybe Howland Reed’s
So blame it on my emo baby

Fail!
Fail!
Fail!
Fail!
Fail!

La la la la la la

La la la la la la oh!

La la la la la, La la la la oh!

Fail!
Fail!
Fail!
Fail!
Fail!

Fall with me into the dark
Fail!
Fall with me into the dark
Fail!
Fall with me into the dark
Fail!
Fall with me, fail with me
Fail!

You don’t need to worry sweet Buck
I’m just happy I’m not a Stark
For Winter has come
And I am in luck
I’m Theon, I don’t give a

fuck duck :D

M’lady Stark’s eyes are nothing like the sun
They’re greyer than the grey of winter skies
If snow be white, why then her cloak is too
If winter be long, he’ll see through her lies

You don’t know where to start
You don’t know when to stop
And that’s why you’d better be smart,
Cos your life is going in endless loop

Your graceful sis
Don’t you feel something is amiss
Killing babies is her only task
That’s why she broke that flask

Don’t you pity House Stark
Their father killed by his own sword
If you have conscience, not just snark
Go ahead, spread the word

The prophecy is coming true
Tommen and Myrcella shall get their due
When you and your siblings die
They will outlive you and stay alive

The path to glory is a double-edged sword
You should know it better than all
Freys thought that their enemy could get laid
And for that with their lives they paid

Wolf mother, where you been?
You look so worn, so thin
You’re a taker, rebel’s maker
Let me hear you sing, hey ya hey ya

Wolf father, at the door
You don’t smile anymore
You’re a drifter, shapeshifter
Let me see you run, hey ya hey ya

Holy light, oh, burn the night, oh keep the spirits strong
Watch it grow, child of wolf
Keep holdin’ on

When I run through the deep dark forest long after this begun
Where the sun would set, trees were dead and the rivers were none
And I hope for a trace to lead me back home from this place
But there was no sound, there was only me and my disgrace

Hey, Hey-Hey, Hey, Hey
Hey, Hey-Hey, Hey, Hey
Hey, Hey-Hey, Hey, Hey
Hey, Hey-Hey, Hey, Ya.

Wolf mother, where you been?
You look so worn, so thin
You’re a taker, rebel’s maker
Let me hear you sing, hey ya hey ya

Wolf father, at the door
You don’t smile anymore
You’re a drifter, shapeshifter
Let me see you run, hey ya hey ya

Wayward winds, the voice that sings of a forgotten land
See it fall, child of wolf
Lend a mending hand

When I run through the deep dark forest long after this begun
Where the sun would set, trees were dead and the rivers were none
And I hope for a trace to lead me back home from this place
But there was no sound, there was only me and my disgrace

Hey, Hey-Hey, Hey, Hey
Hey, Hey-Hey, Hey, Hey
Hey, Hey-Hey, Hey, Hey
Hey, Hey-Hey, Hey, Ya.

House Words

What is dead may never die
He hears the waves call his name
The wind whispers, calls in sighs
We do not sow, in this game

We always pay our debts
To our friends and our foes
Hear me roar, hear us roar
Everyone does, he knows

When the cold winds blow
The pack survives
But when winter comes
The lone wolf doesn’t die

Fire cannot kill the dragon
She steps onto the pyre
The blood magic of old
Returns, with blood and fire

Family, duty, honour
Honour binds her to the river
But her duty is north
And family it gives her

Ours is the fury
Not one, not two, but three
The stags dance for the throne
Slaughtering happily

We are the sword in the darkness
The shield that guards the realms of men
But what happens to the boy
When home calls to him again?

by Dracarya

The Wolf and the Crannogman went to war
On a beautiful white-gold horse
They took some honey, and plenty of money
To see them through the worst.
The Wolf looked up to the stars above
And sang to a small guitar
'Oh, lovely Howland, oh Howland my friend,
What a wonderful Howland you are!
You are,
You are!
What a wonderful Howland you are!’

Howland said to the Wolf, ‘You honourable fool!
But how brilliantly sweet you sing
Oh tell me your secret, I swear I will keep it
But what should we do about him?’
They rode away, for a year and a day
To the land where Winterfell stands
And in the godswood, the Old Gods stood
Whispering softly to them a plan,
A plan,
A plan,
Whispering softly to them a plan.

'Dear gods, are you mad? My head will be had!'
'The boy, he is all that matters.'
The Old Gods decided, it’d be best to hide him
'But be sure nobody natters!'
The young baby, passed as a wolf, maybe
The old gods’ plan might possibly work
So off they went, and to the Wolf the Fish bent
And in Winterfell the boy now lurks
Now lurks,
Now lurks,
And in Winterfell the boy now lurks.

Guard me well…

The Wolves of Winterfell

The Wolves of Winterfell have split,
Though separate still stand,
Surviving flames betrayal lit,
When one became King’s Hand.

The Alpha male went South unto,
His death within King’s Landing,
With him went the she-wolves two,
Who far apart are standing.

The eldest son rode South as well,
Stood up in arms, and forged a crown,
Who swore a vow, when Father fell,
To tear these seven kingdoms down.

He fell in love, and set his fate,
By scorning the house of Frey,
They who sweet words would not placate,
So betrayal with death repay.

The Mother Wolf went South once more,
To visit lands once tread,
But these lands that she should adore,
Became the lands of dread.

She loses three men treasured„
To the Lions they were fed,
Yet her vengeance will be measured,
As she rises from the dead.

The youngest girl, in foreign lands,
Now learns to change her face,
To take the names that Death demands,
Yet has not found her place.

For still she dreams of running as,
Nymeria, lost faithful pet,
To find at last the pack she has,
To this point never met.

The eldest girl, she hides away,
Though she does so loathing,
The fact that she’ll forever stay,
A she-wolf in sheep’s clothing.

The Youngest Pups, now thought dead,
For the betrayal of a friend,
They know not of the tears shed,
When news came of their end,

Separated to go forth,
In hope that they’ll survive,
The elder pup is carried North,
While the youngest may revive,

The name of Stark if he is found,
By Davos, named as friend,
Before their foes begin to hound,
And he truly meets his end.

Thus the tale stands for now,
Though all has not been well,
Not death, nor tragedy may cow,
The Wolves of Winterfell.

You were all I wanted
I wanted you for the rest of my life
Now I feel so defeated
You broke my heart and told me nothing but lies

And you made sure that I learned
That you were the one in control

You think that you’ve won
You think you’re in charge
You think that you’ve won
But you can be sure
You may win the battle, but you’ll lose the war

You thought that you’d break me
You could never understand
The Stark blood’s in my veins
I’m stronger than you think I am

And I will stand til the end
Waiting for the day you die
Maybe the Throne, your closest friend
Will put an end to your life

You think that you’ve won
You think you’re in charge
You think that you’ve won
But you can be sure
You may win the battle, but you’ll lose the war

You told me, “Yes”
You held me high
And I believed when you told that lie
I played soldier
You played king
And struck me down when I kissed that ring

You lost the right to hold that crown
I built you up, but you let me down
So, when you fall, I’ll take my turn
And fan the flames as your fire burns

Maybe one day you will learn
That you’re not in control

You think that you’ve won
You think you’re in charge
You think that you’ve won
But you can be sure
You may win the battle, but you’ll lose the war

So, when you fall, I’ll take my turn
And fan the flames as your fire burns

You may win the battle, but you’ll lose the war

So, when you fall, I’ll take my turn
And fan the flames as your fire burns

You may win the battle, but you’ll lose the war

When You’re a Stark..

When you’re a Stark
You’re a Stark all the way
From your first grim remark
To your last dyin’ day.

When you’re a Stark,
If the shit hits the fan,
You got brothers around,
You’re a family man!

You’re never alone,
You’re never disconnected!
You’re home with your own:
When winter’s expected,
You’re well protected!

Then you are set
With a capital S,
Which you’ll never forget
Till your cryptic address.
When you’re a Stark,
You stay a Stark!

We Are One (to “We Are Young” by Fun. feat Janelle”)

Give me a second, I, I need to get my story straight
The Starks are asking questions, fearing for their son; for his fate
My sister, she is worried, fearing that we will be caught
I tell her not to worry, they will think the boy was bound to fall

And it was a very unfortunate thing
I guess I’m trying to forget
But between the king, and the death of Jon
Travelling to this waste, and all these Starks
I find it hard to just relax

So, if by the time the dust settles
And my sister has calmed down
I’ll visit her room

Tonight
We are one
And if anyone finds us out
They’ll find out about
What I do for love

Tonight
We are one
And if anyone finds us out
They’ll find out about
What I do for love

Oh wait, Tyrion just said,
"The Stark boy may live"
I guess that I, I just thought
That the fall would do him in

Now Cersei’s upset
And Tyrion suspects
Is it safe for me to visit her room?

Tonight
We are one
And if anyone finds us out
They’ll find out about
What I do for love

Tonight
We are one
And if anyone finds us out
They’ll find out about
What I do for love

Visit her room tonight
Should I visit her room tonight? (x3)

Tyrion’s looking at me
Suspicion’s in his eyes
Is it safe for me to visit her room tonight?
Would he dare tell on us?
He says he loves his fam’ly
Is it safe for me to visit her room

Tonight
We are one
And if anyone finds us out
They’ll find out about
What I do for love

Tonight
We are one
And if anyone finds us out
They’ll find out about
What I do for love

So, if by the time the dust settles
And my sister has calmed down
I’ll visit her room tonight…
