There once was a lad named Bran Stark,
Whose direwolf’s call he failed to mark.
He fell from a tower wall
Ever so incredibly tall.
Next time he’ll heed Summer’s bark!

Direwolves

To the tune of Fr`ere Jacques

Brother Greywind, brother Greywind,
strong and faithful, strong and faithful,
murdered at a wedding, murdered at a wedding.
Wuff, wuff, wuff. Wuff, wuff, wuff.

Sister Lady, sister Lady,
far too trusting, far too trusting,
we’re missing you sorely, we’re missing you sorely,
lick, lick, lick. Lick, lick, lick.

Sis’ Nymeria, sis’ Nymeria,
with her pack, with her pack,
running through the woods, running through the woods,
howl, howl, howl. Howl, howl, howl.

Brother Summer, brother Summer,
where are you, where are you?
Lost beyond the Wall, lost beyond the Wall.
Howl, howl, howl. Howl, howl, howl.

Brother Shaggy, brother Shaggy,
fierce and angry, fierce and angry,
goes hunting to Skagos, goes hunting to Skagos.
Grr, grr, grr. Grr, grr, grr.

Brother Ghost, brother Ghost,
silent, wise, silent, wise,
runs through Haunted Forest, runs through Haunted Forest …

I see clouds gathering
The blowing wind gives me chills
It’s time to say goodbye
To our merry Summer thrills.

I see all the leaves falling
In their dance of gold and red
Remember all the good things
In the darker days ahead.

When all is cold and white
And the sky is deadly black
May the memories of us
Bring some joy and hope back.

And if the Gods let us survive
Another Winter so cold
Those are the stories we’ll tell
When we are frail and old.

Until then, to keep us warm,
We shall fight and we shall sing
‘Til we see the fading storm
And the first glimpse of Spring.

The raven came and brought the white, like it’s feathers shining bright. Dreams of warmth flee from my mind, I pray for day to end this night. Summer soaked my skin with fire, when nature wore it’s best attire. Bright sunrays woke my desire, to spread my wings and soar higher. Now the chill is in my veins, and in my heart the cold remains, life is bound in icy chains, sending death across these plains. There’s one spot inside my soul, that no winter ever stole, a dream of spring to make me whole, a diamond shimmer inside dark coal.

Four seasons bookmarks by `Adelaida
I loved a Maid of Summer fair, Her beauty none could match, I’d see her but three months a year, Her hair the light would catch. I saw a Maid of Autumn red, Who brought me to my knees, A beautiful end sprung from her head, As the leaves fall from the trees. I loved a Maid, in Winter time, With Moonglow in her hair, When Luna climbs into the sky, I will always see her there. I loved a Maid of warmest spring, With snowmelt in her hair, Such pain only true love can bring, Fleeting, and hard to bear, Of Spring she’s now a memory, Happier than all the rest, To long for her is plain to see, I loved this Maid the best.

Unsung Heroes - The Direwolves

Nymeria the brave
Attacked the little prince
To save her mistress
Without even a wince.

Into the woods she must flee
Else she’ll become a pelt.
Of Arya the queen wanted a hand
Oh, the sorrow Nymeria felt!

Grey Wind, a king’s wolf
Fierce and brave in battle.
Protecting and killing are his vows,
He has no time for cattle!

Summer, the most loyal,
Saved his master from a knife.
Forever will he be there,
To protect Bran’s life.

Shaggydog is mad,
Just like Rickon Stark.
He feels his masters’ pain,
And howl does he, and bark.

Lady was a beauty,
Just like our sweet Sansa.
But for her sisters’ crime
Lady had to answer.

Ghost is loyal to the end,
His fur as white as snow.
His eyes glow red like the heart tree,
And he always seems to know

When danger approaches his master,
The bastard Jon Snow.
He shows him trouble with the wildlings,
And helps Jon to know.
